Ordered a 25in and 42in Lightweight bar from farmertec today, I have held their 28in lightweight and im sure it was lighter than my current 25in solid bar so looking forward to see how light the 42in bar is.

I wonder what would be wrong with the returned saws. I didn't know they sold returns.
It doesn't matter to me i went ahead and bought a used nh895 I'm going to mill with it.
when i worked at a retail store
People returned saws with nothing wrong with them
I would go through them and they'd resell them.
Usually they'd get a job done and want their money back or whatever.

Yeah, that's a good buy. I would have bought that if I had known about instead of buying a new one that I have to work on anyway.

Loosen the carb bolts up and see if you can twist the cable mount on the boot downwards to get more of the slack out.
I finally got this thing to work. The first time I only loosened the carb bolts and tried to push the cable mount down like you said, didn't move hardly any. This time I removed the two intake elbow screws and twisted the carb clockwise while pushing the clamp piece down, it moved enough to keep the throttle rod from hitting it. Much better now. Thanks for the tips.

That's crazy. I think new ones were cheaper than that when they had that black friday sale.
Yea, that's a horrible deal.

There's a guy locally that seems to have started selling stock holz saws and mill-kits. He's got a nice markup, the MFer. Pretty ridiculous.

I saw on the Brainerd MN CL someone doing the price doubling game of some china saws. He's probably thinking that having inventory in stock locally is a good excuse for that kind of price scalping.
