I started out .050"...still have a partial roll of 72LGX....Then kept finding great deals on .058 bars...and bar/chain combos....Then something like this pops up....it's not the 36" I was looking for ....but dang! Good price on a 32"Tsumura lw

I'm convinced whatever gauge a guy chooses and invests in...all future deals found on bars/chains will be in a different gauge.🤣

Whats the drive link count on them funny lookin bars? They look like carving bars. If you look close at the bottom of the rails, the stamps aren't even in the same location, off by a few mm. Better hope the bars are the same height!

They're 32"ultra light carving bars. 😂 just jokes.
Amazon uses a generic Tsumura bar pic for the Tsumura bars they sell directly.

I heard back from neotec about my 395 throttle not fully opening. Their "tech" said the problem is the carburetor not the cable. They sent me a link to a carb on Amazon. They said for me to order the carb and they would reimburse me for it.
How's that for customer service?

Not bad at all. Do you get to keep the old carb? Would be good spare parts/carb rebuild kit

My brother ran his one man band timber business for around 40 year's
I cut with him often
We ran mainly 24" some 28" and rarely 32" bar's all .50 on 181/282/288/394/395s
It's funny the only chains that ever broke on us was stihl chain
I've only had two chains break and both were Stihl picco.

It's probably not either the carb or the cable. It's probably just not in the holder on the trigger side.

I took the handle covers off, it sure looks like it's in there to me. It looks like it's in on carb end too. All I know is when you pull the trigger completely, it doesn't go all the way to the stop on the carb and when I press it further with my finger the saw speeds up more.

Loosen the carb bolts up and see if you can twist the cable mount on the boot downwards to get more of the slack out.

Have you cut the cable at all? Shorten it up by a mm or two and see if it can engage fully?

I don't understand how the carb could be the problem unless they installed the wrong carb on it to begin with.

That comes with a new plastic part that snaps to the throttle lever. I could see them messing those up or slapping on one from a different model. The 372/385/390 ones are different from the 394/395.

I've had good luck with Dukes carbs

Thanks. I'll try to take some pictures of how the cable sits in the handle. It looks right to me but I have no experience with cable throttle saws.

Sometimes it's difficult to get them to seat and I've fixed many over the year's people brought me after they did carb kits or whatever saying my saw won't rev up anymore.

The 394/5 tank also wears the trigger and the tank part where it contacts. I've taken the handle darts off before and bent a piece of safety wire around the end ferrule of the cable to shorten it before.
