I sent my friend that link when they were 199.00 and he bought a few View attachment 413617
He gave me one for fixing his saws for him.
I haven't run it yet but i like the tools and spike kit it comes with
Otherwise it's virtually identical to the holzfforma 365/372
Even the sharp case halve seam behind the trigger i had to sand it down exactly like the holzfforma's
And the advertisement lied it had the same squarish handle as everything else china saw.View attachment 413618
Sweden my assView attachment 413619
I haven't touched mine since I took the pics of it but the gray and orange one is running good after replacing the carb. I'll get a video of it in a couple of days.

Italian my ass
This was the worst finished and chamfered cylinder I've ever seen
The ports all have chatter marks from a aggressive bit to try to smooth the ports.
It looks like the intake ports
Wore the piston down at the factory
The rest of the saw looks fine
No idea if it runsIMG_20240328_132836.jpg
It wouldn't have run long before catching a ring
usa made gaskets my ass

That intake looks about the same as the gray one I got, I expected it to need cleaning up and I was going to port it so it did't bother me. The plating in mine was fine and looked a lot better after I ran some Scotch Brite through it. It didn't have made in Italy but there is a grind mark where it would have been. I still haven't done anything with the white one but will post some pics when I pull the cylinder..

After seeing those pics I had to see what my white one looked like, not as good as the gray one.

Piston scuffed on the intake side and a little on the exhaust side.

@Czed You might want to pull the intake boot off those saws and check the intake flange, I don't think a boot would last to long on that flange.

How is everyone's G395 holding up? I'm still considering one. I need to file my taxes and see what I have to pay first.

My oil pump locked up and smeared the drive gear. I took it apart and deburred a few things and polished the ramp and it's been fine ever since.

Funny that the upgraded "Italian" cylinder is actually a down grade from the standard top ends on the less expensive saws.

@ammoaddict Walt has put a lot of time on his G395 over the last year or so. Did about $15,000 of timber with that saw, with no issues.
I can't remember how many aftermarket saw and trimmer cylinder kits I've used
Probably over 40/50 at this point
Going back over 10 year's
I've never seen a worse finished cylinder even the 10.00 white box specials off eBay were much better.
The latest holzfforma's I've looked at were as nice as the hyways i have.

Did your friend contact their customer service? I did for the gray one and the white one, on the gray one they refunded me $35 for the chipped paint and on the white one the bar was lost in shipping so they refunded me $65 and after I saw the cylinder I contacted them again and I'm waiting for a $33 refund to purchase a new cylinder.

The standard cylinder that same on my blue G395 was great, the piston was junk but they've fixed that.
