Another Hybrid Build

Saw looks great Al, but I guess I'm not old enough to see the vids!!! (and I have a youtube acct).

I presume that control lever was from an 044?

Finally got in to see the vids, nice job! (and my 462 with 28" 404 was also in there!).

First they verify my email ... OK.

Then they want to verify my phone #, with the only option being they send me a text ... and it's a land line!!! I just changed it to the other # than I don't use!

Blue is just stiffer AM parts in rubber or urethane or poly.

Blue decomp caps are usually large Husky OEM offerings with larger bleed ports drilled in them. Some of us modify Stihl or Dolkita decomp valves. I drilled out many.

Looks like a long bar saw with those numbers.

I finally got a decomp from a 395 husky to put in my hybrid, what a difference! I no longer dread starting that beast.

Doc did a few saws with lower compression and a decomp for easy starts. Old shoulders need easy days.

Just curious how this saw oiled that 28" bar? Stock oiler or modded oiler?

I don't know what oiler Al is running, but my 044 has oiled a 28" bar w/o any problem.

In fact, the saw came with a 24" bar when new.
