I see where class size makes sense for racing but could we not apply a simple math formula where HP is divided by CC or something where you can see what makes the most power per CC of displacement. Kinda like a BMEP (brake mean effective pressure)? Then a saw with 46cc can be compared to a 90cc saw or anything of any size fairly. Or iz muh idea dumb.

Would you happen to have any cut times stock/ported to go along with this by chance to see if there is any correlation between HP and time % gains?

Sorry, I don't.

Going to have to wait until I get some that are being sent elsewhere for porting.

Or models that have already been done.

Wood chips are ucky...

Could possibly

Not sure how you would break that into classes though?

Could have a "most efficient " champ.

.xxx per cc

Or just bump the questionable saws by the chassis size. 357 same chassis as 359 which is 60cc.

Same with 6400 same chassis as the others so they all the 70cc class?

CS-1201 vs 090 would be interesting just to see what those saws put out. Also MS150c vs 2511wes......MS201t vs 355t. Standard carb MS261 vs MTronic MS261 vs Stratos gutted MS261.

Well if power is measured per CC the strongest engine could be 20cc or 120cc. How goodz the dyno thread. Joe your Mrs must love the dyno lol.

I agree, but that means only 1 winner lol.

Guess could do a top 10. And just list what/who saw.

I'm gonna have to train her to run it.

The boy likes to pull the throttle, but at 4yo, he not up to the task of starting some of these 90+cc saws.
