I prefer American made, but two things to consider:

1) I have previously stated that I purchase the Chinese kits to learn saw porting w/o ruining OEM stuff. It was the only affordable way I could do it.

2) Not everything is made in China, but I don't know of any American made saw parts! Even OEM stuff is often made in China!

I am so done with China, I built a China 660 and 372, I didn’t like them and sold them. I can get used 660’s pretty reasonable, that need work, an am not going to go out of my way to go China anymore, I am sick of them! I like my old stuff too, and it’s fun to hunt down nos parts!
