Well. The Hooskies Break before going on the DYNO. So...no Hooskies breajing the DYNO. There is usually a Hooskie fix it table set up at GTGs.
STIHLS usually out cutting wood and stuff. Just sayin...LMFAO
Sounds like an intense rimjob....Sweet! Thats roughly what i had in mind
Some milling on the spur sprocket and rim it'll fit i guess

Sure. It works it’s ass off to do its job and then takes a long break. Just like me.LOL. Was it a straight up work saw though???
NOPE...
BUT it did put a good run down...
That saw is KRAZY
Should be interesting to see what that one was. We know the stroker was strong on its graph. The more of the same model that is run the better idea we can get of what a good one is, what a average one is and what a turd is.I could have sworn I read that a Stihl 661 was run already on the DYNO a while back.
But I never saw the graph.
No real "spikes" with the valve. Rather smooth.
Rated for 30hp I'm thinking 30ftlb too they have. A high tq option that is for 60ftlb.
I think it almost has to be a noise/vibration. I'll give them a call and see what they say.
Now that the setup is "right" I hoped it would last longer.
Can the arm be hydraulic or urethane dampened?

Interesting to me this . I grew up with my old man drumming this into me every time we ran the saws (028 ,044 and 066)Well. The Hooskies Break before going on the DYNO. So...no Hooskies breaking the DYNO. There is usually a Hooskie fix it table set up at GTGs.

Were is the graph on that one? Probably looks like Mount Everest?Lol Busting balls...pretty sure a stock bort is the best saw made!Pretty sure the strongest saw on the dyno so far was a hooskie...by a long shot.
I've heard of bolts falling off huskys, but it looks like that 575 in your avatar lost more than a bolt lol.Interesting to me this . I grew up with my old man drumming this into me every time we ran the saws (028 ,044 and 066)
Time past and I used all sorts of saws just because he made such a fuss of stihl saws and actually found myself choosing to use the huskys much to his worry and they were just as reliable . The 028 was forever having carb problems the 044 would idle till you picked it up and then stall ( 4 times to stihl dealer to sort ) 066 pretty good but anti vibe marginal so yeah I like them all but way more reliable not so sure
Its a 576 actually, my favorite saw . I cut that side cover off like that for noodling big logs . Got sick of it blocking all the time so got snd hand cover from local husky dealer and took the grinder to it , no more blockagesI've heard of bolts falling off huskys, but it looks like that 575 in your avatar lost more than a bolt lol.
That's funny, I had 575/576 first, but I figured you wouldn't have done it to such a sweet saw lol.Its a 576 actually, my favorite saw . I cut that side cover off like that for noodling big logs . Yeah I run a 16 inch bar and cut the end of the log into blocks , some logs are 1800mm through so 4 to 5 cuts each way and then a 395 with 42 inch to cut them off .That's funny, I had 575/576 first, but I figured you wouldn't have done it to such a sweet saw lol.
Those things sure are smooth. I have a cover like that, but I'm pretty sure you have more material on yours yet.

I have to thank @jacob j. for informing me...this was...the saw to own! Factory rated at 27hp and 40lbs of torque no piped husky can compete...have heard they are banned from all races and competitions...And nobody can get one...
