You can mod the Stihl bar and get a 1/4 sprocket to run on the 2511t.Didn't even know about the CS2511 when I bought my MS150 T C. Seems like it is 1/2 lb lighter according to the manufacturer specs. I just went to the local dealer (before they went to *s-word) and bought the lightest saw they had.
Is there a 7t 3/8 option for 2511t?
I made a rim fit. I had to JB weld it on, but it eventually worked loose. @srcarr52 didn't want to tack weld it on, but he knows metals better than me. I might use a key to lock it on if ever I use it again. 6t 3/8 is plenty in my opinion, but I'd like to see 10t 1/4Is there a 7t 3/8 option for 2511t?
Or any other echo drum interchanges with 2511t?

I'll have to see how to go about with that
My ported 2511t with low rakers pulls 6t 3/8 too easily even in hard wood. This 7t idea might fix the excessive torque and bring up some chain speed

Sweet! Thats roughly what i had in mind

Some milling on the spur sprocket and rim it'll fit i guess

You're right, the plastic oil pump drive rides on the spur sprocket. Rim will need some workJust need to add a keyway and key, and grind a hole or holes for the plastic oil pump gear to fit into. I can't find my rim for a picture.
There is a site called saw again where you can buy a complete Oregon 1/4 pitch for the 2511 if you choose. You can also get new Echo complete engines fir $130ish. I'm kicking around buy both. Have the new motor ported. Builders would appreciate not tearing apart the whole saw I guess. That's pretty cool. Maybe if I had known about it that's what I would have now rather than the Stihl. If we ever get caught up on tree work and things go back to normal I would love to send my whole collection of saws to Huskihl.

Yeah they're so small to take cylinder apart you literally have to tear into the whole saw. Very time consuming, just to take it apart and put it back together

Well, got the 166 pull done.
Big echo needs a carb kit. Can't get it to pull fuel.
Holy shnikies, that’s impressive @Canadian farm boy, well done.
