Joe is a fine example of a human. Thanks for a fun and informative afternoon Joe. Today was the first time I'd met Joe. Super cool, down to earth guy. We talked pigs, saws, work, family and life. If you're on the fence about sending a saw don't be.
Also @Woodpecker showed up with saws to run. Got to see his awesome MMS 7910 on the dyno and a 500i. It was totally worth putting up with the variables he introduced. Thanks again guys!
The secret's out, Joe moonlight's as a power ranger.View attachment 254564

Qtla! Yes, yes he is...Joe is a fine example of a human.
I debated posting that pic, but some things are too powerful. Would love to have been there when Cole was over. Or if Dave could have made it. @Definitive Dave @Red97 when you guys work it out let me know. I will come and assist.thank you tim for picking up my 066
Curious to know the numbers of your saws Tim!I debated posting that pic, but some things are too powerful. Would love to have been there when Cole was over. Or if Dave could have made it. @Definitive Dave @Red97 when you guys work it out let me know. I will come and assist.
Unimpressive. I build junk saws you all know this. The farmed out saw was amazing though!Curious to know the numbers of your saws Tim!
I thought they were cool. I especially liked the 2171. Clean stock saw! Was very cool to see the process...Unimpressive. I build junk saws you all know this. The farmed out saw was amazing though!
You said it Brad. It's easy for any of us part swapping hacks to farmer jones up a saw, but the time and $$ Joe has into this is a different story.I thought they were cool. I especially liked the 2171. Clean stock saw! Was very cool to see the process...
I also wanted to take the opportunity to Thank Joe for his time. If you riff raff visited and saw in person how much work goes into each saw run, you might be a little more respectful of how much Joe has given to this forum with this thread.
Any member wanting Joe to do this or that for special testing (ex. Systematic changes with testing at every stage) should consider that Joe's time in such endeavors shouldn't be free. Furthermore, neither should the run time on the machine that would be required. In other words, don't be a jack-wheel and expect your curiosity to be satisfied for free. Show up and assist or offer to pay for such things!
but but but its a work saw not a race saw lolYou said it Brad. It's easy for any of us part swapping hacks to farmer jones up a saw, but the time and $$ Joe has into this is a different story.
I'll probably never be privy to the race saw numbers. I'm transporting one saw though that's going to cost some numbers lol! I'm impartial but I'm still curious.but but but its a work saw not a race saw lol
