Been a minute since my banshee. It was a hoot on the road, and up at the dunes at Silver Lake. Never cared for it in the woods or on the MX *s-word.
I hear ya, I like the the banshee for straight line, have set up a few that could turn but I love a good Trx250r! My favorite all around 2t bike! With a big bore stroker they my favorite dunner, the suspension and geometry and weight make a great package

this would be a fair race for.... @Deets066 6835FCB2-3A33-45A1-A285-6FC91C91E5B4.jpeg

The r just made 59hp and 42lbs to the wheels, you should smoke me! But I did beat a 15 crf450 2 wheeler with a hi comp piston and exhaust, got him by four bike lengths, she is only 363cc View attachment 253040

That is a pretty flat curve, lots of usable power!

Thanks, I build it for all around power not peak numbers or to be drag racer a different pipe and I higher exhaust port and it would probably make 7-10 mor hp and move the torque curve up a little. We kinda dynoed it on a spur of the moment, I wish I would have brought some different reed cages to test, did check the timing on they dyno and lost 1 hp giving it more or less timing, was pretty excited I could feel that out riding when I first set it up

I was trying a new cam and fuel on my bike when it let out the magic smoke on the dyno. I think it spit out a crank seal. I'll be pulling it the rest of the way down here in the next few days. Piston and cylinder look perfect. I have different style seals coming and I'll be opening up the crankcase breather reed valve to relieve more pressure.

The tuning wasn't done and with the exhaust sniffer still in the pipe it made a little more peak but +5.5hp at redline. So I expect to pick up another peak hp and gain the low end back with cleaned up tuning and without the sniffer the whole curve should step up some.

I’ve had a few vent issues with TRX 450s, I bet you pick up some HP just fixing that! Are you by any chance trying Q16?
