I’ve had a few vent issues with TRX 450s, I bet you pick up some HP just fixing that! Are you by any chance trying Q16?
No a friend became a Renegade fuel dealer so we can all run the SX4+ for cheaper. I was running VP T4. Plus it sounds like we might have 3 turbo bikes to take snow biking this year which will all need 110.
Yeah, it's just two 5/16" holes covered by a stainless reed for the crankcase vent. One of the holes only partially opens due to the reed limiter, I'll be cutting the bridge out between them and probably doubling the amount of air let out from under the piston into the rest of the case. Hopefully that will stop the oil belching from the vent and help with ring seal.
I haven't got it torn down far enough yet to tell but I bet it pushed the right side crankshaft seal out. Then the case pressure relieves into the gear case and wont let the oil drain down from the head. Then the oil escapes out the breather into the air box and you have a smoke machine!
