Will a 394 run this bar through 30” wood? I also have a 395 would running dual power heads be better? I originally wanted a single 088 or 3120 but couldn’t find one. Would a single 120ish cc saw with an auxiliary oiler be better than two smaller saws? IMG_4707.jpeg

I would say if you go slow 1 power head would work ok. Not sure how much you plan on milling but if it were me I would shorten bar up to like 36 or 42 so many less drivers to pull and a lot easier to sharpen. This winter used a 7900 to mill a 36inch sugar maple with a 42. It was slow and we were spraying the chain as we went but it got it done.

What bar and chain would you recommend for a 42” if I was going to use it for milling?
