Just looked through the ipl's it appears the heated handle is only half wrap. Arctic would be heated carb and heated half wrap.

Doesn't mean that won't change in the future.
Can u check the ipl pls, is there in outer dog?
Can u send the ipl via pm?

I don't have a pdf of the ipl

This would be for the wider/west coast sprocket cover. Looks like the inner spike is what you would need. To make the outer 660 spike work right

I found ur picture strange, because number 30 (1122 664 0506) is in outer dog in ur picture.
In the old ipl these number is for an inner dog.

Can u follow me and is this correct?

Indeed, it looks like there are probably interchanged part numbers. I guess 24 should be 30 and vice versa.

I am following what you are saying. They must have it listed wrong. Looked through the other variants on the 400.1 they are all the same. I am thinking @el33t is correct

I was kinda hoping the HO pump from a 461 would be a swap for it, but I kinda figured it wouldn't be with a ground up new design.
Maybe the 462R pump will swap?

Maybe when they are introduced to Canada we will see a 3/4 wrap Arctic version.

If I'm not mistaken, the Arctic versions are in official distribution only in Canada, so the Arctic version listed above will only be available there (officially). That is, it looks like the Arctic version will, at least initially (and perhaps permanently), be available only with a half wrap handle.

Of course, the difference between the Arctic version and the European version with heated handles is symbolic. One is that the saws intended for the North American (and Australian) market have a muffler with a spark arrester (letter Z)...

Arctic saws were offered in the US at one time. And they have been and still are offered in Canada in Arctic 3/4 wrap.

I always wondered what the Z meant, thanks.
