Breaker of recoils
Welp, hate to say it but I felt no gains in the saw cutting with this carby. Just presented more tuning issues and was kinda sluggish off the low end.. Not really worth it.
Not a bad idea but what I would gain RPM but would lose the “lugging” ability. What if you add some intake timing and hog out the transfers?

Shaun Carr put a full 372 intake/ carb setup on one of his racer 346s and that thing ran like a scalded dog.
I did a thread on another recipe a while back but I have a different recipe now. .030” from band, .030 from. exhaust 105.5, transfers 121 intake 80I know everything is relative. Do you have another thread on the rest of the build on this saw? I'm guessing it's not stock. Not everyone wants to share & I totally understand. If we all had an idea of the level/extent of port work done, it might shed more light on the subject. At any rate, thanks for sharing bud!

Your fine mang. I MIGHT try the again but build up another 359 to be my “test mule”That should make good use of the 372 carbs flowing abilities. [emoji6]
At the start of this thread I didn't realize the recipient of this carb swap had been "massaged"!!
Had I realized that I wouldn't have made my earlier comment. My sorries!! Lol

That HD would probably compliment CJ’s transfers. Too bad that guy’s a shiester.
