A little tired, two jobs are too much for me, especially in the summer, there's a lot of work in the brewery and a lot of dead spruces to cut in the forest.

And you, everything fine ?
I am fed up and tired of my job of 25 years.
Health vise I am fine though.

Maybe I could move to Your area.
I wouldn't mind a visit to Your brewery and I might be able to help out with the spruce. :)

I’m not sure if Stihl RSP is narrow kerf per se, but I have been running it on standard bars without any trouble. I will declare it is the best .325 chain you can buy. Amazing performance and teeth are hard as fkuc...

Just checked on Stihl's site and cant fine RSP. Got a link por favor?

Here's part numbers for the 66 and 72dl RSP chains.

Preciate it. Got a couple things to pick up at my dealer, will get them to get me a couple loops.

The above pics are 3/8s though right? Not .325?

The drive links threw me off. The only .325 I run is on a 20" bar, 81DL I think.

I was thinking 72 was for a 20" 3/8s bar and 66 for an 18" 3/8s.

Thanks for the info

The 72 is Husky 18" bar.

You said you only run 20"

For the guys running 16" I have been able to use .325 x .050 x 67 DL on both the Husky and Stihl. I have 8 pin rims on both.

I didn't have any luck with the Stihl running the 66 DL chain, which would be the correct count on a Husky. 66 was too short on the Stihl, even with a 7 pin...

Sorry for sidetracking the thread...:(

The 357 doesn’t have the grunt of the 6100…how much closer would the 359 be?
I have a ported 2159 that’s faster than a stock 044 10mm in 14 inch hardwood. In bigger wood the 044 is of course the winner. Never ran a ported 6100 but people say they’re strong but longevity is the issue with them

This is the first time I've read about "issues" with a 6100. I'm not saying you're wrong but I'd love to hear more.

Three here!
What issues are there related to the 6100's?

As far as I am aware they are solid units.

I thought I read on here couple years ago about cylinders burning up on the 6100. Obviously I’m dead wrong cause I searched and couldn’t find anything. My bad

Yeah, I put together a pretty strong 359 top on a 357 bottom, it whips up on my stock 562, but there is no way I qualify as a hotrock grinder of saw cylinders.
What little I know could be scrapped out from under one fingernail of one of the good guys.:crazylick:

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of longevity issues with the 6100, but then again, I don’t put that much time on any of mine to really know.
As mentioned there were 5100S saws that got roached because they were tuned too lean, and a fair amount of coil failures on those too.

And then the bearing pockets...
