This might sound silly but Mc Bob did something like this to start a Mac101 kart engine <iframe width="1280" height="737" src="
" title="Easily start a chainsaw with this kickstarter" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Finished assembly on the saw this morning. As @srcarr52 mentioned, I did have to clearance the case under the intake block. I also had to trim a bit of the air dam as well. I also had to slot the lower muffler mount holes. I massaged the carb a bit before putting it back on, and stamped the jug. Shall we see if it makes my wrist hurt?

For those of you wondering, the pull isn’t that bad if you are quick with it. A half-hearted attempt would not be a good idea though. Saw burped on the 4th pull and lit off on the 5th. Not bad for a saw that was drained for shipping.

I hope to be able to make that happen later. Being new to 2100’s, I’m surprised at how slow they will idle.
My 2100 has the side exit muffler with the thread-in spark arrestor, which is missing. At idle, it legitimately sounds like my old KX125 dirtbike 😁

It's rather rare to find a saw that is pristene .I have one,a Mac 105 that had sat in a repair shop some place in Wisconsin for 25 years with a broken recoil .It had the original 24" McCulloch bar and what I assumed the Mac branded.404 chipper chain that had never been filed .
The 2100 Husky I misplaced my Loctite green and should get another via flea bay about mid week to assure the welch plugs are sealed .If that fixes the problem should finally have it regardless of the frustration .
