I'm quite befuddled with mine .I did a complete rebuild on the carb including the passages below the welch plugs .I've never had to do that before on any carb .It will fire on a squirt of fuel but die out so it's a fuel delivery problem .It might be a bad seal .Which would explain it .if so .Back to the shed again .

It's probably an intake gasket blocking the impulse channel.

I don't think the gasket shifted .I have no idea why this thing worked good about this time last summer .However prior to "sawfest " it refused to start .I wanted to run it in the 100 cc class ..As it worked out on a fresh rebuild of the Partner P-100's I used one but again it was only at 140 PSI and didn't do well .That saw has slowly improved in the last year and if the 2100 won't work I'll use it again .The other Husky,281 decided it didn't want to run but I've got the modified 038 Stihl Mag that will out gun it anyway in the 82 cc class . .For reasons unknown I'm beginning to believe Husqvarna is mad at me .

I soaked mine in Berryman's overnight and it got better but nowhere near fixed. It's getting an ultrasonic bath next. If that doesn't work it's getting a bullet.

One of the dumbest things I've done in the carburetor category was install a diaphram and gasket on the metering side of the carb, then bolt on the plate that also had a gasket and diaphram on it. Yes, two of each. It actually ran, sort of.

Oh I belly ache about this thing but it's like 40 years old .Sat on a barn floor for maybe 15 years on some island off Washington state .Those are probabley the original seals .It's not that big of a deal to change the seals nor is it costly . I'll get it one way or another,I always do .It's just usually you can tell if a seal is going faulty by the way it runs .I had no warning on this one .However some years ago I had a blow out on a Stihl .Stopped in heart beat that time .
