Another #1 seed the Flames eliminated in 5 last night. Bruins lost and now trail the Laffs 3-2.

First round is really like no other I remember.

If the series had moved back to Winnipeg, I'm not sure things would have ended well for the Blues.

Couldn’t even watch the game. I knew by the reaction of the team at the end of last game that it was over.

Oh well, says me several hundred $$ between now and June so in the end I think I am okay with it.

If I care in the morning or next month I’m all in on the Isles and Trotz getting back to back cups with different teams.

I haven't had much time to watch anything but the Jets but the sweeps by both the CBJ and Isles have to be noted as outstanding / historical results.

Either the Flames and the Bolts are colossal failures in playoff hockey, or the league is fixed. I'm a believer that the NHL is suffering the same plight as FIFA did years ago. (Busted for fixing the outcomes.)

I can't believe that the games are fixed. The NHL looses vast numbers of viewers when Canadian teams are all eliminated. Viewership will go down by 3 million or more after the Laffs are eliminated tonight. Viewers = $$$ and Bettman is all about the $$$

I do believe that the playoffs requires a completely different level of play than the regular season and it takes a special team to be the best at both.

Whole league looses integrity and credability if they get caught up in cheating/altering the outcome.
Lose much more viewers.
Hockey fans are hockey fans. Plain and simple.

I went to bed at the end of regulation. 55 minutes of VGK kicking the crap out of the sharks and five minutes of Shark mayhem.
I was surprised this morning to hear that the Sharks won.
The playoff have been interesting.

Have watched the hit a dozen times now, in now way is that a penalty never mind a major. They got screwed, those refs should be fired.
