Agreed...that saw is a game changerThat 500i is a impressive saw for completely stock and running 28” bar with 8 pin. It’s definitely not broken in yet either.
Wow. Your killing me. LOLBetter fire them up and piss rev them to make sure they’re still oiling after the trip

This right here is a shot of Dan contributing to a masterpiece of meat candy! IDGAF how gay that may sound, that's the only description that even comes close to capturing the essence of those meatballs! I think it was Sondre that actually coined the phrase "meat candy" so I have to accredit him for that.
Agree on that 500i Mason. What strikes me most about it is it's relatively low bulk and weight for an 80cc saw. I was very impressed with it. If it proves reliable it will be a hell of a weapon!
It’ll be interesting to put to the test out here on the west coast I’m wondering if they even tested it out here or not.

I’m not even going to entertain that thought till there’s R versions out & loved.
They’d be fools to have not tested it there as the 461 that it’s replacing has been a popular saw out there.

Most of the guys I’ve been around skip the 46 size for a 44 372 or the 390/395 66 size saws. The last series of 661’s didn’t go over our here all that well most of the guys went back to 390’s one reason price two they weren’t in the shop 3 out of the 5 days a week.

oh and im home now thank you @paragonbuilder and mrs paragon builder for having the gtg
finally able to make it there after all these years and very glad to meet all you northern guys
Some of it also comes down to if the company buys or you have to as well. I’m not really sure if Stihl tests stuff out here or not but it sure doesn’t seem like they do.
