Some of it also comes down to if the company buys or you have to as well. I’m not really sure if Stihl tests stuff out here or not but it sure doesn’t seem like they do.

It’s probably split between 461, 661 and 390’s here for falling work, most of them ported on the coast. As far as I’m aware (I could be wrong but haven’t heard of any) there are no falling/logging companies left here that have employees, pretty much a requirement here to be a contractor with your own insurance and equipment.

The MS661R springs align with you.

They Suck with a real bar.

@mdavlee figured out how to make them better.

Take parts from 30 year old design and add them to the limiters cups. Then buy new star sponges for once a month swapping if you use regular weight bars or put one on a mill.

Thank you all for contributing to the success of this gtg. Good times good people. It’s turning into a solid 2 day event which is awesome. I had a blast!!
Dan, Thanks for the hospitality, I had a great time racing the Doctor and meeting a great bunch of guys and seeing some cool saws, especially the new FI Stihl. Can't wait til the next one, I will be better prepared to defend myself. Who was the guy with the Milwaukee t-shirt, he handed Matty his lunch with his 15,000 RPM 8 pin rim 346XP!!!
