Mr Huskboy, the Husqvarna 555 and 562 does have 3/8 rim sprocket on the drum. I am not sure if it will on a 346 or Jonsered 2153. I do have a 562 and a 346. I do have the clutch tool to remove the clutch to disassemble the 562, then to check on a 346.
Would you like me to try it for you. I do have both, a 562 and 346. I never knew the rim sprocket from a 562 will fit a 346 drum. Let me know......

You’ got me beat, I’ve only got 3 welders and a plasma cutter ........ all blue

I had a Snap On Plasma once. I got rid of it. In most cases I can out cut most folks
who use Plasma cutters with a torch. Not in speed but in quality of a cut.

Mr Huskyboy, Just an update. I just took apart a Husqvarna 562 and 555, clutch and clutch drum assembly and compared the 3/8 rim sprocket to a 346 rim sprocket. They do not match......... The 3/8 rim sprocket is too big on the 562 and 555.

It give me a chance to clean the clutch, drum, and bearing of each. At the same time I applied new grease on the bearing. Good for another 3000 mile oil change.....lol......

Just wanted to let you know.

Mason, good news. I couldn't go to sleep without finding out......

I took my Husqvarna 550 clutch assembly off. Next I took the 562 clutch assembly off. Now I wanted to see what different.....

I took the 562 3/8 clutch drum and rim and what is see if it fits on the 550 worm gear. Great it fits........ Next I took the 550 clutch and installed it on the crank. Still looks good..... Next I fitted a small mount k095 3/8 bar and chain from my 357, then install the clutch cover, then tighten chain. I rotated the chain by hand and everything works............

I will bring both clutch tools to Dan's GTG. You will be good to go.....
Now I can hopefully get a good night rest.....

Anymore, I just knock the fuzz off the bottom with a straight edge after a plasma cut ......... you get good at either after a while

Jack, it will be good to see you again next week!

What problem are we trying to solve for Mason? Running 3/8 on his 2253? If that's the case al that is needed is a small spline 3/8 rim to be able to do that. Works on any 2253/550/346/2153. I can bring a few if anyone needs them.

Snowing crazy here; about 2" so far. :)
