I was reading a thread here on a build of one of them and the carb was a huge choking point on them. The thread stalled so I'm not sure how it turned out.

20180612_165632.jpgI'd pick the 7910. 20180611_201558.jpg My Del Eaves 590 is probably my favorite though simply because no one expects anything from this saw. It's been to two gtgs and the only people to pick it up other then me was @T.Roller and mustang Mike and both had good things to say about it.

They are a great saw! I'll have a 590 one day. I never thought much about them till I ran @rattler 620 and I knew then that those saws were no joke.

Oh lord yes even bone stock it impressed me. Now Im interested to see what it can do
Put a 28" on it and see what it's got after 10 tanks or so. It will surprise you. Mine did logging duty for a couple years with no failures aside from a brake band and a clutch.

I have a new one, just need the ambition to pull the clutch.
Been working around the house, painting and working on other people’s lawnmowers, etc....

I hear you there. After I'm off work and finish up my chores my fun stuff almost seems like a chore at that point. Some day ill start buttoning up all the loose ends scattered in the mess I refer to as a "garage". Soon as the dang grass quits growing!

I couldn’t have said that any better!
Except.....our grass hasn’t grown in 2 weeks.
Everything is brown.
Need rain....bad.
