It takes a squeal chain to make that hootsie cut good.kinda like a ford has to have a bowtie motor in it to run right.lol

Hey guys,
Kinda looking @ a 064 with a 25 inch bar...pics are fuzzy...guy says he can't pull rope to budge...but will take $150 for it.
He said it was easy start???
Waiting on more pics...I did offer him $75.
If it needs just a piston/cylinder...what's this saw worth?

At $150??
If its complete I would get it. A MMWS cross kit is $120 ish iirc. And I paid $140 for a good used 064 cyclinder. So yeah get him down more if you can the rope could be caught up in the recoil. Last year I saw a fried top end complete 64 go for a little over $300 here.

Yeh I was about to say it could just be the recoil. Doesn’t hurt to take a peak inside when you get there and maybe use that to talk him down more. I had a guy with a Stihl easy start that couldn’t pull over and it was the recoil assembly.

I didn’t think an 064 ever had easy start. Isn’t that a newer add on for smaller saws? Maybe elastostart?

Whenever the wife b****** about my 15 or so chainsaws in the garage, I showed her pictures of these fellows collections of 100 +. I don't know if it makes her feel better about it, but it doesn't hurt.

Whenever she starts *b-wording about the time I spend with the chainsaws, I remind her that I could be addicted to cocaine or heroin or gambling Etc...

That will work for a while, but not forever. Believe me.....
