In Australia we have large hardwood forests, these big Macs are well suited.

I understand. I've seen some amazing scores posted here from some of your fellow Aussies. Lots of big Echo's, Dolmars, Stihl's, McCullochs, etc. Here in Utah, it is rare to see such cool old magnesium. When I was living in Northern California it was more common, but not quite like the opportunities down under.

Yeah, I've got a few Oregon made bars with the orange lettering, but the Windsor's are pretty rare. The chain is also Windsor, which is why the idea that it may be the original loop could be true. Only thing missing on this saw is a bar spike, but I have one laying around somewhere.
