I was also wondering if anyone knew the part numbers for the o-rings on the oil plunger?

thanks guys, I’m checking with the local dealer this morning on the orings . I did realize the oil cap has a different part number than the gas cap. The vented oil cap is no longer available. Thought about putting the gas cap off a junk 266 and see if it effects the oiling

So what do you guys think? It was listed as a part number 501801002 that doesn’t exist for anything and the seller had quite a bit of 2100 parts. I took a gamble because it looks A LOT like my other two thin rings, but not exact. I just haven’t seen enough pistons to know if there’s others that look like it.

Did it come with the rings?
It shows up next week. Looks like it has rings to me.

I did bite the bullet a pay for a NOS 2100 thick ring piston.
I also got a new 2101 piston. Those are nice cause they share rings with a 394 so you can still get OEM or AM

Nice so your getting a decent amount of parts now for your build then. Looks like a easy sale on the thin ring piston for the 181. I think Dave was looking for one.

I’m hoping it gains a couple mm in shipping. Lol

I’m sure we can work something out. I’ll wait till it shows and get some better pictures. You restoring or racing?
I have a 181 top end that has a decent used piston but I'd like to find a better one. It'll be for a work/ play saw. I already have a ported 288 work saw and a 288/181 play saw
