Wondering if anyone could help me verify what I have here. I think it’s a 250 not a super 250 but wanted to see what you thought. I can’t find any other tags or numbers on it. Thanks in advance

1-52 or 1-53, McCulloch could change the model numbers on the fly by putting a line through one and adding another stamped on the bottom of the crankcase. It make little difference if it is a 52 or 53 as they both were 87cc models. The long black top, the black clutch cover, and the full wrap handle all confirm the 1-52/53 model.

This one had the option of being a 300 (direct drive) or 650 (gear reduction drive). Turned into a 300.

Thanks now I see the 1-52 and realize what it is. Why would it have the 3 underneath it I don’t see the 2 crossed out. They look very similar to the 250’s that’s why I was confused
