Bwahahaha. There should be a loser face somewhere also.

And this post made my morning! THIS -----^

@MustangMike good guess but I'm going to keep it a mystery, cannot confirm or deny it's a 10mm 044. You know that's on my list.

My 262 needs some work and it won't be ready for the NY GTG.
Bench time for me has been zero lately, but I'm glad I got that 346 rebuilt and learned a bunch more in the process.

Jeff -- Stihls have their issues. Here is what an MS200T top handle assembly does if you breathe on it wrong when taking it apart:

That’s because when you own a Husky you realize what a hoot it is to use them you look for any opportunity to do so. You can run a Husqvarna when it’s cloudy, windy, cold, when it’s raining, when it’s snowing, fighting fires, in clean wood, in dirty wood, pretty much anywhere any time you can find to give them a beating they are ready willing and able. They also require maintenance.

Stihl owners on the other hand... well, I hear it’s “not worth it” to them to dig their saws out off the shelf to run them in the cold, in the rain, etc etc etc. So yeah, who needs to do work fixing a saw when you only drive it at 50mph on sunny Sunday afternoons? Lol.

That sort of contradicts everything Randy says when comparing the durability of the two brands, so I'll just leave it there.

I know people who are very happy with both brands, so that is all that matters. If your saws do what you want them to, then :).

That's because the Stihl's cut more wood on that Sunday afternoon than the Hooskies do all week. LMAO.
Don't get me wrong Fred. These Stihls will run, I just choose not to. I don't cut wood for a living, so I am not that hard up to run them in the rain. I cut below freezing, single digits, etc. Just not much good comes from cutting in the rain. I got too much money tied up in my saws. I workem hard and take care of em. I don't beat on them. Big difference.
I cut more wood this year alone than most guys cut in a year with my Stihls.
I had a guy from a tree company approach me last week when I cut for 4 days straight. Begged me to come work for his company. I told him I do this for fun, and I am a 1 man show. He said I could out-work his whole crew. Lol
So big difference if I CHOOSE not to cut in the rain. [emoji6]

All I know is most loggers use a 395/661/660/390 for production from what I seen out there on youtube and the real world.

This^^^^^^

Jeff it don’t hurt my feelings none when you knock huskys, or preach team stihl. I really don’t care cuz I like them all. But to be honest, it’s just plain annoying when it’s in every thread. I think it ran its course. It was funny for a bit. Now I roll my eyes. And I’m not alone.
Food for thought...

It's OK Mason, we like ya any way!
Looking forward to seeing you mike and the large portion of CT gtg gang in a couple days! Should be fun.

Dan I'm glad you can just attend a GTG instead of the tons of work and expense putting one on. Hoping you will bring the most recent kyle 262 to try out?

Won't be arriving in the LOUD Fuel Racing van but same customer is letting
me use a new regular van. No biggie as long as I get there with ma saws, RIGHT!!!
Lee we know you are worthy... No need for a bad azz looking van when u have the ridiculously bad azz saws inside! This will be the "sleeper" van since it's unmarked ... If its another Mercedes you can enjoy the comfy ride again.

We know it was in good fun Jeff, and we aren’t sensitive, but it’s like hearing the same joke told every day. It’s just really annoying.
Nothing personal, you are a good dude.

As Dan mentioned, it was mostly the relentlessness of it, was old, tired and beat way beyond death.
Like someone telling the same light bulb joke every time you see them...
