I plan on making the next ct gtg. And I will bring my son next time. He’d love it and fall right in the fold. I had a blast. Thank you to all ecspecially Dan for hosting!

There were some rediculous saws there.

I’ll bring that oe 346. but think I’ll have to bring something a little stronger if I’m going to keep up with you on the other end of the cant. Let’s see what I can come up with.

You still want some other tops to play with?
Looking forward to it bud !!!
Cant hurt to bring them ..............

LMAO. This is fuggin awesome. I do have a secret stash of some 026s I picked up. I buy the purty ones. Low use. They come with all their screws! And run very well. I am not a good mechanic because they don't break and I am always running them!!!! Making some money with them, working them cutting real trees. LMAO
OK, by now I know I have really pissed some guys off. I am sorry for that. (Not really) [emoji23]
But this is all in good fun. I respect all you guys, even if you run Hooskies, Dollys, Dolkitas, Johnyreds, etc. @LeeH is in another league or 2 up from me so I do not even attempt to go there. Lol
Thank you for your generous sales on the bars Bob. Greatly appreciated. And for the mobile parts delivery service, that is parts for my only Hooskie. Lol
And Kevin, ask Jason, I did beat him a few times, and he beat me a few times. Everyone wants to race me for some reason. Lol. My saws work, not race. [emoji106]
The cants were side dependant on determining who won or lost. Lol one side was knotty and bigger than the other. [emoji14]

In closing. Please realize that I joke almost as much as Angelo. So that puts me at 135%. Angelo is at 150%. Lol

This really is a cool brotherhood we have. Takes your mind off of the every day grind of life.
BUT I still think about my Stihl's daily. LMAO !!!!

Cool Eric! That log was pretty big. Make great table tops.
I didn't run any of Lee's saws in CT. Hopefully in NY. [emoji106]
That's a beast of a saw Eric, also Jeff I took one of those big cookies home with me to make a tabletop. I've got it soaking in oil based stain right now!

Here it is after I off loaded it.

Keep us posted on how it comes out. Now I feel bad I threw the cookie I cut on the pile and broke a few -- you would have had an even bigger selection to choose from ;)

Great pics and vid Eric.

Chris, let us know how you make out preventing that from checking. I had lots of them, but they all checked, so I didn't do anything with them.

Definitely. So far it has one internal crack. Nothing around the edges yet. I'm keeping it moist with the stain. 2 heavy coats so far.

I can't believe I'm saying this but The 395s have the edge on a 660. The 661 I think could hang once their ported. It's just my 2¢ tho. @Moparmyway the first 395 I ran was faster than the 2nd one. I didn't notice they both had a bullnose mod.

I tell ya, running a 395 made me feel like I had kryptonite in my hands....it was a rush to say the least!
The one you ran with long bar was mine that was stuffed with bananas from a chimp in Tennessee

Thank you Chris !

If you're talking about this bulls nose 395, that was actually bone stock and brand new, except the muffler mod that Uncle Lee thought was done by Midas :D
This was the one running a 404 with an 8 tooth rim

If you're talking about the saw that Sondre had, that one was on its first tank of fuel after a complete rebuild, bearings, seals, piston, rings, and new cylinder that was ported and machined

@paragonbuilder
I brought in two extra egg sammiches for me & my son, on top of what you ordered .......... funny, but we turned to throw the bags away ( we each had one) and when we turned back ............. GONE !!
Every one of them were gone ......................................

Next time, we're gunna need a few more extra sammiches from Dixie;)
Those saw were both bone stock saws. Kevin's has a mm. Mine is a work saw 660 with a 066 cover screens in hollow can. The set up is Oregon 16H 83dl 404 semi filed to 25*. My saw has never ever been opened. Nothing is matched. 170 psi. 7pin on tank #7. Tank 8 will be today. No *s-word 8 tanks so far untouched. Cuts sand and staples pretty well.

I needed plugs and my muffs being out in front of those horns.
You're hilarious!

Gotta say Jeff is one of the least full of chit guys here and I do respect that. There are some guys on either side that put on this fake objectivity act that is pretty transparent. I'd guess about a third of us are impartial and have both brands, but the other 2/3 of us lean strongly to Husky or Stihl. Nothing wrong with admitting that and as long as nobody takes it too seriously, it doesn't interfere with having a great time like we did on Sat. I just plain enjoyed hanging out with everyone and it didn't matter who ran what brand saw.

"I'm not a Stihl guy", but I do want to thank you Stihl folks for taking a bunch of those bars off my hands. :)
Great to see you again. Thanks for the late run on the 572.
Missed the bars. Send me a PM so I'll pick some for the NY GTG.
Thanks for the invite Dan. We both had a great time.

On a side note, remember those pies I brought? Guess who completely forgot to take them out of the car Sat?:(
You just reminded me to go get the pumpkin pies from under my tool box. Opps... They were nice and cold, tasty to. When you forget pie... it was a great GTG.
Might happen one of these days. I have an aftermarket top end for
one i'm thinking of having it done.
Love to get my hands on that to study for few and then some.
