For my 390 Mastermind Husky — I have 28 and 32 Oregons and satisfied with them, but think a 32” light weight bar might be nicer and maybe even lighter feeling than the steel 28. Having read what I can find, it is hard to choose. What are your opinions on Husky mount light weight bars? Which one do I want?

I wonder which ones are actually the lightest? A lot of folks rave about the old Oregon lightweight bars but I never had the opportunity to use one. I don’t know how much they weighed either.

I have the Husqvarna light by Sugihara and like it. I also have a Tsumura light (not the new premium light). Both bars are excellent, but the Husqvarna is a bit stiffer than the Tsumura, but these are 24” and not 28-32.
Sugihara and Tsumara, light versions of both are excellent, really good bars. Just flip a coin. Tsumara light "Premium Lite" is a bit lighter bar. Loving both. Premium Light is a notch above standard light

Either version or style... You need to go STIHL "ES LIGHT" versions or Cannon Light to get a better quality bar. Just my opinion. And cost comes into play here. Your choise, your money

Ooops... don't know what happened there /\

I will add that Sugihara makes the Husqvarna factory light bars now. FWIW

I will add: Tsumura on top is large Husqvarna mount while the Cannon and Stihl are 3003. Weight by digital scale and all are 28”. 3003 are 91DL and the Husky is a 92DL specified but I'm using a 91DL chain on it also. All are 3/8" by .050" . All are good, happy with these and Sugi. Husqvarna large mount are on ported 372XP's for what ever it is worthimage.jpg

For money or value of my dollar I would buy either the Tsumara or Sugihara, either which one floats your boat, as both are excellent bars. Find the best price. Go from there. ArcherPlus, Amazon or Ebay

Not sure if just dumb luck or what is going on, recently trying a Stihl ES light I have encountered way more times throwing the chain.

Oregon reduced weight bars were the lightest ever made, but the 36” I sold would flop all over starting a cut. Stihl are probably the best all around, just run an adapter and mill the slot out 1/2” longer. My 2171 has stihl studs
