It hauls wood, scrap, whatever I need it too.
Don't care if I scratch it, dent it or whatever as long as I don't knock a window out.
This time of year it also carries 600lbs of sandbags behind the rear axle for ballast when I'm plowing.

20211119_150649.jpg So delivered a load of firewood and I heard my belt squealing a bit on turn in to road and again when I turned to back up and deliver. Than I decided to open the hood and see what was going on. Well the whole idler pulley where a/c would be was like this spinning around the siezed bearing...lol
Luckily the guy said I think my neighbor has one of those in an old plain Jane chevy truck back in his hedgerow. Sure thing and it was a newer napa replacement...lol

Man did I get lucky.....

That is one clean skidder! Be good out west here for pulling buncher piles with that fixed grapple.

Up here in interior Alaska, run an 2002 7.3 powerstroke chassis cab, f-350 with f-550 springs for deliveries. Cord of green alaskan birch goes 4700 lbs. Performance built tranmission.

1968 chevy k20 4speed for around the cut area.

Air-bagged/chained chevy tracker for tight stuff. 20 psi in the airbags, the little thing will handle .4 cord of wood per load.

Yammy Enticer 2/ rmk 1.5" lug trackx136" for hauling slabs and winter camp wood.

Duce, thanks. I should be shot for tearing apart a rust-free 14,000 mile cucv but all those drivetrain goodies are going into the 68 k20:
Pto np205 transfer case to run a rear pto winch, 4:56 geared axles rear has a loxker, front has a limited slip, 1 1/4 ton military springs.

Also replacing the high reving 327 chevy v8 with a 292 inline six for more low-end torque.
