Thanks Nate, Jake & Cantgitright for responses......I think heavy bearing grease packed in is not needed and hampers the cw/ccw switch. Now I gotta do it again, clean the grease out and just soak in motor oil. Full synthetic? Semi? Castor? Dino? lol

I think you may be overthinking this one I use 30 wt or 15 40 as I have drums full of it I don't think it would much matter

If you want a Snap-On 1/2" I know of one in a pawn shop. Been there for a coons age, I can probably get it for $100.

Whats the consensus on a good torque wrench? 1/4" and 3/8" drive.

My budget does not allow for Snap-On or Mac prices though unfortunately

I have a nice high quality U.S. made 3/8" click style torque wrench for you when you stop by.

I don't have a 1/4 torque wrench though I guess that's for when you're gettin down right surgical on some *s-word

I have 3 of them. each with a different range of accuracy.
I have a Napa beam style for setting pinion pre-loads. A snap on click style for valve bodies and general use. A Cat screwdriver handled clutch style for whatever it was Cat wanted me to use it for.
