I agree to a point. But for all I know that stuff comes from China. It certainly doesn't need to be made in the USA, but I would expect them to be forthcoming with where it actually is manufactured.

According to Amazon Q&A the Tekton wrenches are made in Taiwan. They have a lifetime warranty and the company seems to have really good customer service from the reviews I've read.
I'll check the packaging when I get home to see if it lists COO. They feel really good in the hand and have a better finish than my gearwrench stuff.
I'm know they are not snap on quality but they look really good for the $85 I spent for 30 wrenches standard and metric.

Yeah I agree with that. And I just looked at the package and it doesn't give coo. I'll be emailing the company and find out where they are made.

Tekton makes a nice hand hacksaw I bought one to give it a shot no pics on hand but you can get the blade very tight which helps cutting pipes and *s-word

They didn't have any wrenches at Lowe's over 1-1/4" unfortunately.

Well I emailed Tekton, and received a response within a hour, the wrenches I bought are in fact made in Taiwan. They seem very good for the money.

It's unfortunate, the craftsman brand use to stand for something; made in the USA, but not any more. At this point it's equivalent to buying them at HF but, the craftsman have a nicer finish. I'd hate to see what an American made 5 piece wrench set costs (1" and up).
Not quite the same... Three techs at the shop I'm at have been refused warranty on tools at Sears. Or... They were only allowed to exchange one tool per visit. Ridiculous...

Tekton stuff has been very good for me.
Sunex is Taiwan and is great stuff. I have lots of their sockets.

I'm liking the wrenches so far. I'll be looking at more of their stuff in the future, they seem to have great customer service.

Has anyone used the Craftsman Professional wrenches? They are the full polish long pattern ones, not the typical square embossed ones. A mechanic friend has a set and they are of similar length to his Snap-On long set (not the super longs) but they are 1/4 the price. He doesn't use them daily anymore as they are in his personal shop engine building room but he did for quite a few years without issues.

I want to step away from my normal Craftsman as they hurt my hands because of their shape and they are not long enough.

Interestingly I just purchased a set of Dewalt reversible ratchet wrenches. They seem to be the same as GearWrench and Craftsman which I'm assuming is all made by the same company. It's hard to find the reversible ratchet wrenches in GearWrench, Craftsman, or Kobalt brands anymore, all the big box stores sell the straight non-reversing ones which are knuckle busters most of the time but come in handy when you're in a tight spot.
