I could see that especially if you are already invested in them.If the 6100 was a large bar mount I'd probably be more likely to get one. To me that's a major selling point of the 562.

Ya I am waiting for him to get the 24" l&t small mount in. I may have found a 28" Oregon bar for small mount. But by then I think a 7900 would be alot of fun with a 28.Yep. I traded into mine anyway but it was new and ported by AWOL. The small mount don't have near as many options in lightweight bars either. Probably going to get a 28" for it whenever they come back into stock with Nate.
Mmmmm new saw smell, What a great feeling. Lol.well she's finally here (got it on Monday but I've been busy. can't wait to get it out and run some fuel through it. thank you again bob,and thanks for the hat!
I agree that weight, and cutting ability make them a very useful platform. The 562 is my do it all.
I need to get to a gtg to be able to play with more saws. They are. It will pull a 28" with about 90% the power of a 70cc saw with a 2 lb savings.
Enjoy your new saw and don't pay attention to Debbie Downers. As I said to each his own and I ran mine today (great saws).well she's finally here (got it on Monday but I've been busy. can't wait to get it out and run some fuel through it. thank you again bob,and thanks for the hat!
You got a good price then. Dealer pricing for each shows $750 and $575.70% of what i payed (out the door, shipped) is $490, you're exagerating more than a little. it's amazing how butthurt someone can get because someone they don't even know bought a tool by a brand other than their favorite. lol

Nice saw, great price, but he will not lose his bar nuts. lolYou got a good price then. Dealer pricing for each shows $750 and $575.
I actually got my 6100 as manufacture defect for less than 1/3 of what you paid. Just had a bar stud that wasn't fully seated. Runtime looked to be less than 1hr when I got it. Took 5 mins to fix...[emoji2]
I have not lost my nuts yet. Knock on wood. I keep my nuts close, lol (pun intended)Nice saw, great price, but he will not lose his bar nuts. lol
if there's 1 thing that seems cheesy to me, it's the captive bar nuts. it also makes it kinda hard to line up the clutch cover not being able to look through the holes.
