Scale may not be quite as precise as some of yours, but here is my Husq 555. This saw has a 20'' bar & chain small mount and is full of fluids.

Is that a 6100 in the background as well?
Doesn't that make it hard to decide on which saw to use? Lol

thank you guys for all of the opinions. I think I've weeded through who is giving good advice and who is just arguing or suggesting something else because they're brand loyal. good stuff guys. Bob will be receiving a call here shortly to pack me up a saw and ship it west. thanks guys, and thank you Bob.

Good choice! I got mine from Bob several years ago.

Hilarious, and predictable, that Mr. Potato Head has arrived here to start his familiar and worn out argument at every opportunity. Most of us are here to visit with friends, share some information, help each other with projects and just have some fun.

But there are others who troll the threads simply looking for an opportunity to disagree with people and start a senseless retreaded argument. Like ants at a picnic, they more or less infected another well known site and made it pretty much unbearable which has brought many of us here to a better place. Let's try and KEEP it a better place.
I was actually surprised to see him here? Well said Bob!

I run a Cannon bar, it weights the same as my 562. Just kidding. Don't care what it weights, cuts great. For oak over 20 inches, just grab a Miller Mod 390 and have at it. Sending my 562 to Randy and to each his own.

Yea, it does make it tough to decide at times. I absolutely love my Dolmar 5105(strongest stock 50cc that I have ever used or tried) and got a super deal on the 6100, so it only made sense to get it, too. I have a 562 cylinder on the 555 so that basically makes it a 560 and it is a bit faster than the 6100. I don't have but a couple tanks through the 6100 and have heard that they take a while to break in and make full power. Time will tell......

I'm sorry Nathan, I know you love the underdog, but compared to a 562 the 6100 felt like a child's toy.
Don't care... I'm not going to spend 30% more on a saw based on it's supposed "feel"... You can say it feels like a childs toy... I say it has great performance, balance, and air filtration. It cuts neck and neck with the 562, costs 30% less and it doesnt have any autotune bugs to be worn out. You guys can go hit the dealer for carb adjustments all you want while i'm out cutting. :p

70% of what i payed (out the door, shipped) is $490, you're exagerating more than a little. it's amazing how butthurt someone can get because someone they don't even know bought a tool by a brand other than their favorite. lol

He's not butthurt, he just loves blue saws and everyone loves to give him a hard time about it.

Over there
I had to choose between the 6100 and 2260 and based on what I wanted and based on my needs Nate (fordf150) suggested i get the 2260, so i did. I also have 3 other AT saws and an Mtronic and never had any of them at the dealer.
