I think that's Husqvarna's "new recipe".
He paid 636.00 for this pile of disappointment
If i had bought it I'd have went across the counter at the dealership to get my money back.

I ran one of these modern
condom saws for the first time the other day View attachment 396832
Do they all suck or is just this one
Gutless and underpowered
The 261 stihl i had was actually stronger than this thing.
But but but they are huskies and never anything wrong with them

Buy some of these forum guy's climb everything for no reason and limb them before they cut them down
To each his own i guess.
I used to think the same thing. @Scotty Overkill was 40 feet up a 50” diameter red oak limbing everything on the drop zone side. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me why he would do all that if he was going to drop the tree anyway. On the opposite side, a 36” diameter limb had split and broken off. While in the process of cutting up that limb, I had 3 saws stuck in the tree due to the torsion and compression everywhere and on every limb. I never questioned why he removed limbs again after that

Why port? Welp....I cut up a storm downed red oak today. A tangled mess it was. Used a ported MS460 with a 28" for the stem, a ported 562XP with a 20" for the smaller stuff, and a ported Makita 6100 with an 18" to work on the stuff that I had to reach up on. It was fun to be able to pull the trigger on some powerful and responsive saws, and the work went quickly. That's why we port....

You like ported saws because the work gets done quicker, so you can get back to slacking sooner, is that what you are trying to say??

Are they all like this now?
It takes me a few years to get a newer model saw in
And they are usually in a bucket
And missing pieces.
I would say no. The 550xp mkII is a pretty strong saw stock. I haven’t run a 545, so I can’t say how the two compare.

The 562 is pretty good even stock.

Yeah....and they are more fun to run than stock saws.

I understand the need and necessity to climb and chunk down especially in residential areas
But some guy's climb and top electric pole looking tree's.

What’s wrong with a 261 far as a 50cc saw gos? I’ve never ran a 545 so no idea if it’s a turd.

And you don't destroy a yard near as bad.

And you don't have to reach over your head to strip it for the most part.

You don't have to worry about it rolling around as bad when it hits the ground. Or trying to cut it up not knowing how it's gonna roll, people can watch all the YouTube or instapuff they want..there's things you learn on the fly or die.

And what you said.

Or you may not have the room.

There's all kinds of reasons why.
