Used to see Box turtles and toads around the house. Probably haven't seen a turtle in 16~18 years now.
Toads seem to have disappeared a few years after that.
As Moms health went away, went from tilling ground for a garden spot to using some cut off plastic barrels for some peppers and tomatoes.
Seemed to coincide with the turtle and toad scarcity.
Maybe just lack of open area to see them in and its lose of whatever attracted them?

I believe it's laying eggs in the bank. I'm no turtle expert, but I believe it's a painted turtle.

Your engine is much nicer than mine however… my master cylinder and brake booster is way more mint. That looks great! I also used to have a Deere 4100 with the 300. Is that a short throw dipstick?

It’s a bs word salad car performance joke. Something you’d hear in too fast to furious 12.

I had the head gasket blow on mine a 299,000 miles. Had the head milled, replaced every single gasket as they were all leaking oil. Still going strong at 326,000. That will be nice when it’s done. Can’t kill those engines.
