Hd50 for the 461, you may have to swap a rod, can't remember but I know they run very well on them, Dave sells them.
What's the best replacement carb for an 044? Can't make this one idle/ tune worth a chit. An hour in the USC pulled Welch plugs etc.... no dice. I'm over it!!

Finished up an Echo CS-800P. I’m quite impressed by these saws! Did a 355T for the same guy a few days ago (modeled after Mastermind’s thread) and was pretty surprised by that turd too.

Cut .028 off the base, cleaned up the squish band, bgd left me at .022 squish. Brought the intake up a hair, the transfers up 3.5 degrees and the exhaust up 4 degrees, widened the exhaust and cleaned up the intake. I also knocked 0.015 off the key to bump the timing.

Also did a quick down and dirty custom muff mod as he was on a pretty small budget.

All in all i was pretty happy with it. Really does pull pretty damn well with the 24” bar. Yes, the saw is heavy, but it carries the weight very well and is built like a brick-schithouse.

I can’t tell you; the pad I wrote them down on got over-sprayed with brake clean and now they are all a big smudge. Pretty pissed at myself for not putting the pad back up on the shelf before continuing to work. I just lost about 5 months worth of records.

Those saw are a tank for sure.
