Liniter screws will definitely bugger the tank if you put them in the bottom holes.

I learned that the hard way too. They specify 5x16 m5 cap screws for bottom limiters on the ipl. They don’t bugger the holes quickly because they are shorter. The pins go in top holes which are made for the longer screw. That’s a nice solution you got there though. What are those husky 350 limiter bushings?

If the zama is the right one (twin jet) people can supposedly mod it to perform well. I also wonder if the internal jetting is richer on the non epa hd6 compared to the hd12 epa carb. That might offset the smaller Venturi disadvantage maybe?

That’s an early 44! Nice! Dose that filter style hold them back?
Anyone that wants the most from the larger Stihl saws, 044, 046, 066/660, 661, 084, 088, 880 should do whatever they can to install a MaxFlow. Nothing compares, and everything else will hold a ported saw back a little bit
