I much prefer working on tractors. I got this farmall m cheap got some repairs on the bench. I got it running no major problems. Gas tank, starter, hydraulic pump and carb rebuild she should be ready to roll. I’m going to try to remove the bondo patches and weld the tank without ruining the character. I really don’t want to paint this tractor since it’s completely original.

Great old tractor there. Road gear is a death trap though.

I remember pulling hay wagons with an M. Great workhorse of a tractor.

More progress on the 441, also the duct tape is gone now.

We have a plow day every fall near me where people bring old tractors. Most of them bring “restored” tractors. Which means they painted them and put new stickers on em. I got one I completely rebuilt mechanically from the engine, trans, fuel, electrical, hydraulics, etc. I left it rusty. They can’t believe how strong it is when everything works the way it should.
