A Jred?:couch:

Free Honda HS520AS snowblower on cl. Owner says it starts on the first pull but the auger doesn’t turn. He bought a new 2 stage Instead. I offered to buy him a case of beer, but he just wanted it gone.

I pulled the side plate off and saw that the belt had slipped off of the pullies. I put it back together and it looks like I’ll have a chance to see if there’s something wrong with it tomorrow night with some heavy, wet snow coming. View attachment 114675

You suck.

Got a whole little family there.....

Question: do I need anything besides the high-top cover and the HD filter with clamp to convert this low-top to the HD filter?
Good luck finding a oem 394 hd filter holder. NLA. The 395 filter holder can be adapted easily though and is still available. Drill the bolt holes carefully to fit the larger screws and clearance around the bolt heads so they seat properly. You’ll see what needs to be done when you install it.

@Dub11 well it starts and runs great....however, Even with the belt on it must be stretched out enough and the paddles are so worn that it doesn’t move snow well. I’ll be ordering a belt, paddles and scrapper bar. I think that if I can get it all sorted out and adjusted properly I can be all in at $80. A few guys on eBay have oem sets for decent prices. Since I might keep it I want oem.

I’ve said those brave words before and have ended up upside down too lol

Came home from work to find a riding mower, a Poulon POS saw, and a 74 corvette with a T stat leak waiting on me to fix.
Neighbors seem to drag up all manners of crap for me to fix. Need to charge more i guess.

All i wanted to do was come home and load the wheelbarrow with a few saws, cant hook and gas/oil then go out back to the neighbors land.
We have 2 40" + oaks to cut up and split.

Now i want to escape to the farm and hide out. Many storm blowdowns to cut but nobody would bother me there.
Glad my hip ain't hurtin today!

We seem to be in that luck corridor getting 12-18", just got done plowing and letting the dogs out. Not sure how much we have, but it is over my 8" boots by a lot.

My apt cancelled tonight even though I was supposed to go to them, they are sick. Between snow, blackouts (lots of folk out 3+ days) and sickness, it is getting tough to keep my schedule! Good thing I have a backlog, but I also know this lull will hurt me later in the month.

Oh Well, can't do nothin about it!

Well the mower had the offending part ripped from it's guts and ready for new blade actuator.
The POS Puulon may be attacked with a Scottish battle axe. I may get the Evans clan to watch my back.
A couple of my neighbors have these damn saws.

The corvette needs a T stat and gasket. The Holley has a small leak, suprize!
The holley just needs the right gaskets and drive the thing more than once every 6 months.

Now i can eat then walk over to the neighborhood fire pit and see whats goin on.
