Anyone else notice that the piston kit is $6.93 MORE than the complete top end?! I couldn't believe it when I first looked it up, even called Husqvarna to verify.

I'm going to make a complete guess that they lowered the P&C price and left the piston only price the same. But is very good bit of info to know. Thanks for checking.

I happen to be working on one of those as well. How do you change the seal in the oil pump? Do you remove the gear assembly? Do you trust the large oiler o-ring to seal, or put a little sealant around it for good measure? That is where I stopped last night...

How about changing the seal? Do you remove the oiler gear running across it? Drive it in from the back?
