Thanks Tor. I wasn't sure what it even looked like after it came out. Not much to it
it reminds me a bit about those fuel vent we had on those old 346's, I was kinda dissapointed when I got the vent out

Gave it a new ring and sprocket bearing for a year ago, thought it was a bit silly to continue to run on 26 years old seals lol

Those small seals aint easy to get out!

Trew in one key that I had shaved of a tad, rounded the flywheel a tad so I can drop the jug..

I always let my nails grow for awhile when I have plans to swap those pto seals

Done with what I have delayed for a long time, gotta order some more seals for the future ;)

Salvage what you can!

Did the best I could. Thought second saw cases could be saved but we're ate up inside. Two cylinders are OK I believe. One decomp the other not. One bucking spike and one flywheel and fasteners.

Well that is a bit of a downer, could not push the like button on that one. Hope it can be repaired.

Left the shop with a happy MS170 and MS271 sitting on my bench. Both of them needed fuel system work and full services. Two happy saws now.

Makes me wonder how many saws just get thrown in the trash due to lack of fuel system maintenance.

I think I might have a tank stump

Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Parted that one out, saved the cylinder, non scored KS, no deco, chrome is beautiful. Case, crank and piston are toast. But thanks for the offer.
Always interesting to me to see others repair work. The one to this coil is awesome. Lol

Speaking of thrown away saws due to fuel system trouble. I picked up a straight gassed husqvarna 371 cheap and he threw these 2 in free because they hadn't run in years. 2 carb kits later they both run just fine.
