I started just making my own 79xx clutch tool, the prototypes were ugly and the first version skinny.
Then I made 3 Husqvarna versions on a request as apparently the OEM ones don't hold up long to repeated use.
I've been told the OEM Husky & Dolmar clutch removal tools are made out of sun hardened chewed up bubblegum, so my goal was to make mine as beefy as possible which in turn made them very clutch model specific.
I ended up making a severely beefed up Version.2 79xx tool too - very happy how they all turned out.

Stocking stuffers? 🤔
I could be persuaded.
Is this the kind of stockings we are talking about? :p

Stuffing a clutch tool in those stockings would the most "OPE" thing anyone had ever done.

A customer thought his 461 would run better if the H screw was turned in a couple of turns. As he found out, that was just a temporary power boost.
Side note: has anyone been finding Meteors that are coming with Cabers that have insufficient end gap? I’ve had to grind the last couple I installed, while OEM rarely requires that.

I did go a little bit crazy on them.

The metal worker in me kept raising the bar, this is as high as I can reach without putting my high heels on. 😉
Okay, now theres a demand for videos of you doing machine work in high heel.

I wish you, and your youtube channel, the greatest success.

Does that mean you can slip them in the dumpster without getting in trouble?

Here are some other pics. I just got the shortblock and heads back from the shop. The heads are cnc ported Kauffman D-port for Pontiac. They ended up only having to go from 4.150” (0.030 oversize for the 400) to 4.155” since the bores were like new. With the 4.25” stroke crank, I’m now at 461 cubes.IMG_0134.jpegIMG_0133.jpegIMG_0135.jpegIMG_0136.jpegIMG_0137.jpeg

How many of your family will fit in that (car)? What vehicle is it?

Are the combustion chambers also machined and if so, what is the benefit?

They are…I’m not sure it provides any real benefit over an as-cast chamber other than the chamber volume is more consistent. In this case, Kaufman’s as-cast chamber is 65cc. I needed 85cc to make this thing happy on 91, so their 85cc offering is cnc machined.
