I also discard the stihl decomps. Threw away several of them this year that leaked anyway. They pop open too early as well. Especially on the larger stihls after porting/compression is increased. I replace with oem blue or grey husqvarna decomps that have two pressure release holes instead of one. Or I just plug them on the smaller saws or saws going to loggers/tree guys.

No Sir, seven year or 2000 hour (whichever comes first) warranty on Big Dog mowers (a division of Excel). The Echos do carry a five year homeowner warranty though.

Simple mod. Had a 562 dog laying around from my 562 full wrap/ big dogs conversion. Installed it on my 550xp WBWS.
Way better. Try and save the muffler a lil more. Had to elongate the holes inward twards each other a fuzz each way with the dremel. And just above the top bolt u have to take about an 1/8" for case clearance. Another plus is u can use a roller catcher and it is slightly longer so it gives u the Hooskie kickstand effect

Took a break from the Corona madness and played saw. Solo 681 I’m doing for a buddy.

I’m told the cranks don’t live long because the pin comes loose in the lobes. I tried the fix that problem as well with a tig torch, some 309 filler and a BFH.

Used the p39 for the first time since i got it back in the fall. Just on the bench to clean it back up. I thinknof all my saws this is about my favirite. I just love the looks of it. Looks tough.
I swapped out the semi chisel for a full chisel.

Sold this saw to a guy at work 7 or so years ago. Said not rinning propper. Fuel lines went south so putting some new ones in.

Seems like it will need a carb kit as well. Wont run unless squirt mix in carb.
