272xp full wrap handle bar getting a new stihl grip. Gonna start with just air pressure and then go from there. Maybe a heat gun/wd40 or some other lube.
I used flex seal on some other saw handle bars which took awhile to do. I used the liquid "flex seal" with paint brushes, took about 15 coats to build it up thick enough. So far so good with the flex seal, dust sticks to it like a magnet tho. 272xp full wrap deserves better so stihl grip it is. I bought 32"s of it in case I screw up some of it.
Got one of those waiting for me...Making some progress. Just gotta widen intake and exhaust a little and we'll see what happens.

I'm sure yours will look better than mine lol. Its a lot smoother than it looks in pictures. Boy that plating is something else on these OEM cylinders. I kinda copied this one from a chainsaw Jim post I found. Numbers are Ex.106 Trans.121 In.78 without base gasket, didn't change any of that though. Just opened up transfers and widen intake and exhaust.Got one of those waiting for me...
