Ended up putting a Kawasaki module in this 028 WB, as the condenser gave up. Can tell by its wanting to fire, but only a time or two. If SEM type flywheel is Handy it can be easily converted with the common 0000-400-1300 coil. Or the flywheel broached in the SEM position which is marked on the back.

Isn’t the 029 flywheel/coil a direct replacement?

K.
This is a McCulloch pro 10-10 Automatic that I got gratis from an old German man named Werner who worked at the Mac factory in Lake Havasu City.

Cleaned up nice!

Really really clean now no?

I’m gonna get a gotfishon gasket set, a carb rebuild kit, install a new fuel line and filter and maybe, I haven’t tested it yet but maybe put in a new coil.

I’m stoked.
Bet this bugger will pull a 24” bar all day.

Husky Jred Partner Poulan folks might know this.

I always just used redneck tools in past to remove them. Looking for part # or numbers. The oem tool that is used to remove rubber anti vibes. Just for these 2 501269702 504125014 That 2 prong tools they make. Think maybe 3 total.

Did one of my practice run assembly jobs now that I’ve got her all cleaned up.

Seems like a really strong spark but what do I know..
Bright and blue.
New fuel line and filter
to the
Pump side of the carb which seems stiff especially in the circular region....
Meter side seemed stiff as well.

Got her to start up for the 1st time in god knows how long with carb cleaner shot down the pipe but wouldn’t idle...

I’ve got that new carb kit as well as new gaskets coming next week.

I’m excited.
Bet she’ll be a monster.
