MS 290 got rebuilt with a salvaged MS 390 cylinder and a Cross Performance popup piston. Runs pretty good considering how little was invested into it.

Very nice. I've done some of those styles along time ago. Been probably 10 years since I've hand carved a pumpkin.

Thinking most of these are done with the generic foredom and dremel. She does carve the real ones by hand though. Thinking the poulan one is the hand carved.

The rest last for ever. The one is in my shop and Helsel's have a few of the others.

Ok guys working on a 660 for a friend and he wasn't to get a little more out of it so I'm going to open up the muffler and advance the timing but I was wondering if i could modify this very restive looking spit back plate let me know what u all think and or do with these things

Maxflow filter or just leave it be do the muffler mod if all he is looking for is a little bit more power the muffler mod will wake it up a bit just remember to reatun the carb after the mod.

I told him to get a max flow but idk if he will.. the saw is kinda hated just because it's a cream cycle and he is a 395 guy

Can't blame the guy for liking the 395 better, if you want to sell a guy a 395 let him run a 660 first, no way he is gonna take it over the 395. Same as a 562 and a 362. Again I am talking stock here.

Tore this one down today. Its soaking in diesel now. Husqvarna 50. It's all there as far as I can tell. Sorry took pic a little late lol.

For the size of these saw they r nice I have a 51 that I use probably more than any saw I have

This is first one I've ever had my hands on. Very simple. It was given to me by an older gentleman whose saws I work on.
