Yessir. Just need a couple more holes. Lol

Engineers must have been asleep at the wheel.

Nice fix on the vacuum port.
Beats grinding out the oil drain hole and then cleaning out the motor .

Now what happens when most of the oil is trapped up in the motor
I can see smoke and bottom end issues.
Hope Kohler fixes their design.

To open the oil drain hole up on this engine it would have to be completely disassembled and done from the inside, no way to get to it from the outside as it goes in at a very steep angle. The drain hole is in the block, not the head, kind of a weird setup. Thing about it is the hole is tiny, like 5/16" max, maybe less, and there is no reason for it to be that small. The block has plenty of meat there, if the drain back hole was 5/8" it would be a non issue.

Watch. The engineer will "fix" it with a smaller oil pump

The highly technical fix according to Kohler is to not fill the engine completely full of oil. They say to run it with the oil level halfway between the add and full mark on the dipstick.

I tried that, it didn't work.

Use less oil yeah that will fix it!
Fill the engineers shoes with oil and then make them fix the problem.
Thanks for the HL supply, forgot about him.

I need to make a list of suppliers. I can't remember everything anymore.

Story was it supposedly needed a carburetor, but a good cleaning and new fuel line, filter, tank vent, and impulse and it runs great. This thing is all but new. Runs strong for its size and pulls a 20” bar well. This cherry log in the pic is harder than a woodpeckers lips. I thinks it’s on year 4 being cut.
