My old 372 chassis didn’t have one in there for some reason when I rebuilt the bottom end. Didn’t notice it running out of the ordinary before. Regardless, I used a oring when rebuilding it. Cheap insurance.

I know that most of you guys are using the RIT brand dyes for you plastic but I was cursing the inter-web and found this.

Neither of my 2 dealers ever replace them when rebuilding them, always run fine without them.

Honestly have no idea where the chunk went. Has a weird sound at idle, but it ain’t mine cause it already would’ve been rebuilt lol. And yessir posted it last year lol.

Most husky mufflers are soldered. You probably won't pry it apart. Just punch a hole in the side and add another deflector.
