I picked up some dyneema rope (same as winch rope but smaller diameter) to try out on my saws. I bet it would work great on those. The abrasion where it comes through that black piece is what kills the rope.

Also, did you know that up to the mid ‘50s, Chrysler Corp used 7/16”-20 LH lug nuts on the right side of cars.

Total re-seal, was leaking from everywhere except one valve cover. Went ahead and threw new rings in while it was apart, engine has 1200 hours on it.

On my way home I stopped by my dealer second shop, my 357 xpg had sacrificed parts when I sold away the other 2 357's I had, needed a brakeflag and a muffler to make her complete again.
I didn't really checked what I bought, first after I got home I saw that it was an 359 with a 199 carb, and unfortantly it has a prestine bottom part and top end, for 40$ I think it was a bargain

I plan to have it sandblasted, prime with a 2K primer, and then paint with a single stage urethane.
